In late April 1981 I flew to Vegas for the day just so I could fly home on Western's newly-acquired DC-10-30 used on the London service. I remember at some point
during the day I hired a Limosine for $20 to take me to the far side of the airport for about an hour just so I could see and photograph some of the airliners that were stored
on the west side.
