In mid August I decided I wanted to finally fly Virgin America since they might disappear in the near future in the merger with Alaska Airlines. Virgin doesn't serve Phoenix so I found a way to fly them from LAX to Las Vegas after flying to LAX from Phoenix. Flights from LAS to PHX are pretty pricey so I just rented a car for the one-way trip home after both flights.
The first flight out of PHX to LAX on American was a very affordable $39 one-way and on an A321 to boot so I booked it.
I wasn't able to get a very good photo of N125AA at either gate but I did catch a shot of it departing LAX on its next flight. Below that is the Flight Aware screenshot of this flight.
