Following my "red-eye" flight from JFK to LAX on the jetBlue A321 I had several hours to wait around Terminal 3 at LAX. I tried to get some more rest but it was pretty cold in the terminal and there was no place to get comfortable.
After arriving I met my birding buddy Louis H. who flew in from Phoenix. We got a rental car and did a birding road trip back to Phoenix over the next two days.
