After a full day inside the Bangkok Airport watching planes and hanging out in the Transit Lounge during hours of darkness it was time to head back to Seoul. Much to my surprise when I visited the Korean Air ticket counter for my boarding pass I was was told I needed to clear immigration and begin the check-in process just as if I was arriving at the airport from outside. This threw me for a minor loop as I'd expected this airport was just like Singapore where you can transit without clearing customs. Oh well...theoretically I had plenty of time so off I went to begin the tasks at hand. In the end it took only about an hour to complete everything and on top of it my flight was delayed from a 2240hrs departure until Midnight.
