After spending some time with my sister exploring the old Stapleton area we went to DIA and watched planes for a bit. After an hour or so she dropped me at the terminal where I printed my boarding card and went through TSA. I had a few hours until
my scheduled boarding time...and that turned into a four-hour delay to flight departure. Turns out a "domino-effect" created a situation where I ended up getting a substitute aircraft to operate my flight to DCA. As a result that plane was arriving
inbound from DCA.
Eventually I got to DCA at 1:51am and after getting a taxi to the Renaissance Hotel I was ready to hit the sack by about 2:30am.
Below is a flightradar24 screenshot showing N203FR diverting to Kansas City while operating F9 #722 DEN-DCA on 2 July 2017 and then flying back to Denver. Apparently Frontier dispatched N236FR to rescue the passengers.
Below is a flightradar24 screenshot showing N236FR's flights during the day including flying to Kansas City to take over for flight 722 that diverted there in the morning due to a cracked windshield.
Below is my photo of Frontier A320 N236FR arriving from DCA as #265.
