I had to spend a couple of hours at PDX while waiting for my flight to Seattle. The weather was dismal but there were some good planes to look at during my time. I also enjoyed a nice bowl of chowder from "Mo's"
restaurant.
My chowder lunch at Portland:
Below is my photo of N629QX arriving Portland prior to flying to Seattle. The little white hangar above the right winglet is where we spent two weeks working out of back in October. Whenever that closest F-15 had
engines running the hangar would reek of jet fumes...it would get pretty bad. We'd have to open the hangar doors afterwards to help clear the air.
