The weather in Seattle upon arrival was much better than Portland with Seattle enjoying partly cloudy skies. I only had a few short hours of daylight remaining on Saturday (sunset was around 4:30pm) so I decided
to just do Boeing Field and Renton while saving Everett for Sunday.
The weekend was quite productive as I enjoyed a Thai meal near Renton Airport then went to see "Murder On The Orient Express" on opening night at the multiplex across from the 737 assembly building. I found a place to
sleep in the rental car at Boeing Field.
Sunday weather was less than optimal for plane watching as it started to rain a bit. Had a good, quick trip up to Everett and then back down to Boeing Field to finish up the trip before turning in the rental car and
heading back to the airport.
I was a little disappointed when I learned my scheduled Skywest CRJ-200 had been upgraded to an ERJ-175. Granted, the ERJ-175 is a much more comfortable plane but
I was looking forward to the CRJ-200 as I hadn't flown on one since the early 2000s. Oh well, guess I shouldn't complain as I got a seat up front!
