Late November I decided to fly to the East Coast to spend a couple days with my Dad. I chose Alaska Airlines so I could earn some miles toward
keeping my "MV" status. Of course, this also meant flying via Seattle. With the long layover I got a rental car and hit all the Boeing airfelds
to check on what was new.
Below is a photo of N483AS at the gate in Phoenix prior to my flight to Seattle.
While in flight I realized the winglets on the 737 were painted differently. I knew I was flying in a "revised" old-colors plane based on my photo above but the winglet on the port side (my side) had the
old colors stripes on it. Curious.
