The fourth segment of this trip was the return to Singapore early on the morning of December 5th. After spending the day in Perth, most of which involved a ferry trip to/from Rottnest Island for birding, I got back to the hotel and packed for departure. The taxi to the airport I arranged took a little longer than I thought it would to arrive but I made it to the airport in plenty of time. In fact, I was so early I got to patiently watch the SQ staff set up the check-in counter. Once checked in and through security I made my way to the departures lounge.
I was able to see a few planes and take some photographs but most of my time was spent just waiting for the flight to board.

Chicken option for the meal from Perth to Singapore. Pretty good.
After arrival at Singapore I had 18+ hours to wait until my flight back to Newark. Sunrise was fast approaching so I made my way to my usual plane watching hangout in Terminal 1.
