After spending a few days in MA visiting family I took the train up to Boston and transferred to the Silver Line bus to Logan Airport. After checking in my roller bag I ventured out in the brisk cold
on top of the parking garage for some plane watching. After a little while it became unbearably cold but I found an elevator shaft with a couple of rocking chairs and a nice view of the Delta terminal and ramp area. Suited me just fine for an hour or two while waiting for flight time.
When I booked this trip in June 2018 I used some Alaska frequent flyer miles for a first class seat for both flights. For the trip to Charlotte I chose seat 1F.
Once inside the terminal and through security I wanted to get some lunch. I found a little restaurant serving seafood so I ordered a bowl of clam chowder and a lobster roll. Both were very good.

As I was boarding I noticed a couple of military stickers placed over the OneWorld logo:

The connection at Charlotte was not very long and I didn't get anything to eat in the terminal since I'd get dinner on the flight to PHX.

For Charlotte to Phoenix I was in seat 1A:
