Mid-week I planned a Saturday daytrip to Denver for plane watching from the terminal. The weather forecast was reasonably good and Frontier had a cheap enough fare. I booked the first and last flights of the day between PHX and DEN for the up and back.
I was also interested in seeing the inside of the new South Concourse of PHX Terminal 3 that had opened on January 8, 2019. It is a nice terminal, but the F1 and F2 gates Frontier use are not well placed for photography of the planes parked at them from the inside.
