For the journey to Adelaide airport, I caught the local commuter train in Gawler. Actually this was within walking distance from where I was staying with my daughters in-laws but with a rollerbag and camera bag it would have been a bit of a trek. Thankfully my extended family gave me a lift to the station and set me on my way.
The train ride to downtown Adelaide was quite nice. Nice weather, nice countryside, a couple of train yards to photograph as we passed by. The railway station in Adelaide is quite nice and was not too far away from the bus stop to ADL.
During my stroll to the bus stop I stopped for a hot dog at "Moe's" and also a gift shop for a couple of souvenirs.
