After arriving SFO onboard the Qantas 747-400(ER), I made it through Immigrations & Custom in decent time. I wanted to try and get a photo on VH-OEH from the AirTrain. Rain started to fall and the windows of the train started to get water drops on them...the bane of this photographer. I had to ride all the way to the rental car center and back to see the 747 out the window and snap some photos.
Once I got my photos I got off in the parking garage and took some open-air photos of planes departing on the 10s...the runway direction I'd eventually depart on the way to Phoenix. After taking some photos I went to check in, collect my 1st Class boarding card, and check my bag.
After clearing TSA I wandered around the terminal and snapped some photos. I also got some dinner at the Asian noodle restaurant and sat by the window watching planes. If only those pesky black dots were not covering the windows!!
