During the week I made plans to fly aboard American Airline's new A321neo from Orlando to Phoenix. At this time there is only one in service with American and it is operating a daily PHX-MCO-PHX roundtrip. I bought a ticket on Frontier Airlines to get to Orlando via Denver. I used Alaska miles to fly in coach on the AA A321neo.
After arriving Denver from Phoenix I had all day to spend in the terminal watching planes. We arrived in heavy overcast conditions, breaking out of the clouds on medium final to the airport.

Being a red-eye flight I decided to indulge in a little Bailey's on ice. They didn't have the advertised new snack onboard (Grizzly Bear Snack Pack) so I chose the "Cub Snack Pack" to go along with my Bailey's.
At some point during the flight I attempted to change the time zone on my DSLR and the camera ended up going belly-up on me. As a result I had to use my mobile phone for the rest of the weekend as my sole camera.
We arrived Orlando just before dawn. I've only been through Orlando just a few times and I'm not really impressed with the interior of the gate areas...they seem really dated and in need of a refresh.
Because my flight back to Phoenix later in the day would operate from a different terminal, I decided to leave airside, grab a taxi to the nearest Walmart and look for an alternative to my camera situation. The nearest Walmart was only a few miles away but it cost a rediculous $40 in cab fare. I bought a Sony point-and-shoot camera but once back in the terminal I couldn't get past setting the date and time on the stupid thing so I gave up trying after numerous attempts.
I settled into an area where I could watch planes arriving and departing on the west side of MCO. I got some breakfast and then had a fitful nap on the floor while listening to YouTube videos on my phone.
