During the week I made plans to fly aboard American Airline's new A321neo from Orlando to Phoenix. At this time there is only one in
service with American and it is operating a daily PHX-MCO-PHX roundtrip. I bought a ticket on Frontier Airlines
to get to Orlando via Denver. I used Alaska miles to fly in coach on the AA A321neo.
I arrived Orlando just before dawn on the Frontier A321. I've only been through Orlando just a few times and I'm not really impressed with the interior of the
gate areas...they seem really dated and in need of a refresh.
I settled into an area where I could watch planes arriving and departing on the west side of MCO. I got some
breakfast and then had a fitful nap on the floor while listening to YouTube videos on my phone.
After my nap I started tracking the inbound N400AN from Phoenix. A weather system in Georgia caused some diversions around apparent thunderstorms so the
flight was a little late arriving from PHX.
Below is a screenshot of Plane Finder showing N400AN's path through the southeast enroute to Orlando.
Below is my photo of N400AN arriving Orlando from PHX as flight #682.
And a couple of photos during inflight:
