After arrival at ANC I pretty much stayed by the windows in the small observation area. Lots of freighters calling on ANC
for fuel and a re-crew so there was no shortage of planes to watch until it got dark.
Original plan was to fly from Anchorage to LAX on a red-eye then connect to Maui about 9am Sunday morning. A couple hours before
departure I found out my flight to LAX was cancelled. Hmm. What to do now?? I found a very nice AS gate agent who worked diligently
to find a suitable connection for me: ANC-SEA-OGG. At 6am. No worries, I'd just have to spend the night in the Anchorage airport
wearing shorts and a tee-shirt.

I really didn't mind this "hiccup" in the flight routing. For one, I hadn't flown aboard an AS 737-700 since January 2016, at the very beginning of my
fairly intense year of flying to Alaska for birding activities. I've logged numerous 737-900s, -800s, -400s, and some Airbusses on 75 AS flights since then but not a single -700, so this
one was way overdue.
Snack enroute to Anchorage onboard this 737-700.
