After my somewhat "stressful" flight from Anchorage to Seattle I had minimal time to get to my gate for Maui. Technically, the flight should have been in the later stages of boarding. But once I deplaned N607AS, took the underground train to the North Terminal and made my way to Gate N11, the gate agent was just announcing the termination of a boarding hold and began the pre-boarding sequence. Whew! No worries then. I wanted to get a gate photo of N590AS and the new food court was just the place and it was basically right next door.
Below is my photo of N590AS at SEA prior to departing for Maui.
I made my way onboard and was pleased to find the center seat would be vacant for our nearly 6-hour flight to OGG. One of the flight attendants told me I'd have to stow my camera for departure (a first!) and not wanting to press the issue in these crazy days of flying I just stowed it. I'd use my phone for the departure video.
