A day or two before I even left on my Hawaii trip on 1 February, I decided I'd go back to Hawaii during the second week of my vacation. AA had fares for less than $300 round trip from Las Vegas to Honolulu so I booked a
two-day trip for the end of the second week. I upgraded my seat for the HNL-PHX red-eye so my total fare was $401 round trip...a smokin' deal. I'd get 3 A321s and a 787-9 on the trip, too.
Rather than drive home to Phoenix, I decided to stay in Kingman, Arizona and watch trains on the BNSF for two days. I got a motel for the two nights before this next trip back to Honolulu from Vegas via Dallas.
