This trip to Honolulu / Hickam AFB (Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam) is a TDY for work....probably the last TDY with this job.
Since I'd purchased an Extra Comfort seat (34A - Emergency Exit right behind the wing) I was onboard a bit early...time stamp shows 0640 for our 0725 departure. Well, after a couple of technical issues we finally departed PHX at 0940! Contrary to my typical seat selection I was on the port side of the aircraft for this westbound flight. This was beneficial while at the gate so I could plane watch for almost three hours.
