Once again, Karen and I decided to go to Denver for a Christmas trip. We started off the trip intending to drive but while we were hanging around LAX airport, we connected up with my friend Brian Gore and eventually parked the car at his place and flew. My neice Jennifer was with us and we all flew the fledgling airline America West to Colorado Springs via Phoenix.
Karen's folks picked us up in Colorado Springs. It was a bit snowy when we arrived and I'm sure the drive north to Denver on I-25 was a little hairy but we made it.
