My Honolulu connection didn't allow for a lot of extra time to watch planes but I'd have an hour or so at LIH before sunset. In theory. Soon after we started our takeoff roll on 8L an obvious vibration occured and the pilots aborted the takeoff and turned off the runway. We taxied back to the terminal to our departure gate but remained on the plane. I wasn't sure exactly how long of a delay we'd encounter so I got on my phone and booked a Southwest flight to LIH just in case this flight cancelled.

Here is a link to video of the aborted takeoff.
As it turned out both nose wheel assemblies were replaced and we were soon back in business. It was an hour delay and soon we were pushing back again...this time we'd head
out to the reef runway 8R for our departure.
