After my pre-dawn arrival at Anchorage sunrise wouldn't occur for nearly two hours. I staked out my viewing corner on the 2nd level near the Delta lounge. I was able to
watch the comings and goings. I got a light breakfast at McDonalds including a cool iced coffee.
A rather helpful airport employee showed me the nearby upper level mezzanine walkway (which I'd never explored during several visits to ANC) where I could get a better look to the north at Denali. The mezzanine walkway also hosted the glass display cases that house various species of stuffed waterfowl.
N614AS arriving ANC from Kodiak as AS #196 prior to my 'milk run' flight down the panhandle in a couple of hours.

Snack aboard N614AS enroute to Juneau.
