Aeromoe's Version of Joe Orman's Naked-Eye 100 List

Number 1: Sunrise

Below are some sunrise photos taken on August 10th and 11th, 2010. In the first photo I used the fuel tank in the center of frame to block the intense orb of the sun. This photo really doesn't do justice to the beautiful crepuscular rays. If I'd been on my toes ten-to-fifteen minutes earlier while the sun was still below the horizon I'd have gotten some photos of the spectacular pink and purple color of the clouds.
The next two photos are from the following day and there were quite a few more clouds in the sky. As beautiful as the photos are, the pink/purple effect in the first photo wasn't quite as impressive as the previous day.
