December 7, 2015 presented a morning opportunity to try and view a naked-eye Lunar/Planetary occultation. Skies in Arizona were clear. I was awake before dawn and the spectacle of viewing Venus so very close to the waning crescent moon in the southeastern sky was very nice.

Occultation was scheduled to occur about 9:19am MST. I used only my camera on a tripod and my glasses to record and view this event.
